The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack status sassa of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The support position made for intervention experiences a large inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and enhance usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
